Current Team Information
The current Rating team in the UK works out of the London City office, as well as Birmingham, Southampton and Chester. We have a highly motivated and successful team, which deals with all aspects of Business Rates (a commercial property tax).
The team provides specialist advice to occupiers, landlords and developers across a broad spectrum of commercial property types - from traditional sectors such as offices, shops and warehouses, to more specialist property types including heavy industrials, sewage treatment works, petrol stations, motorway service areas, pubs, hotels and safari parks.
Our team consists of a number of senior personnel who have specialised in Business Rates for a number of years, supported by a strong team of placement students, graduates and newly qualified surveyors. We also boast a very experienced Rates Payment Management team, who deal with many thousands of rates bills each year, in order to provide a complete service to our clients.
We work very closely with other Savills teams to ensure that we offer a full property service and experience to our clients.
The business rates system has become increasingly complex and the need for specialist professional advice is essential for clients.
