Purpose:
Our national team of project managers include specialists in every property sector and corner of the market, allowing us to apply specific yet broad expertise to office, industrial, logistics, mixed-use, retail and residential development projects. They bring together expertise from chartered building surveying, project management and structural engineering backgrounds and we offer a truly national service. Our project management teams work for investors, developers, landlords, owner occupiers and tenants, managing the development, refurbishment or fit-out of property across the full range of sectors.
About this role:
As a graduate on the Project Management pathway you will gain experience across a range of sectors within Building & Project Consultancy, ranging from living sector and industrial and logistics sector new build developments. Through this pathway you will experience client meetings, project meetings, site visits and gain experience of programming, tendering and contract administration.
About the team:
The Northern Building & Project Consultancy team is a fast-paced and friendly team of 36, split between our Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle office locations.
The role is within the Northern Development Project Management team to work on exciting new build developments in the industrial and logistics, student and residential sectors which are at a variety of different RIBA stages.

Training:

You will have an APC supervisor and counsellor who support and guide you throughout the two year training programme. Once you've successfully passed your APC and become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), you'll continue to receive training and career development opportunities. We ensure that your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is current and that all staff are fully up-to-date with changes to legislation and business needs.

Good communication and organisational skills and a proactive approach are vital to succeed as a Planning Graduate. You will need that ability to manage a varied workload working as part of a team, while also having the ability to use your own initiative, and be passionate about delivering the best service possible for your clients.
