Role title: Summer Scheme Student (Energy) - 15th June – 24th July 2026
Purpose:
Savills summer scheme is an opportunity for university students in the year before they will graduate (or start a masters) and be looking for a graduate role, to gain 6 weeks paid work experience. To learn about the business and industry and to ultimately prepare for a graduate role in the industry. We will be in a position to offer graduate scheme positions off the back of the summer scheme programme, so it is a great opportunity to put yourself in the best position before finishing university.
About the team:
Within Energy, we have roles this year available in London.
With over 90 energy and sustainability consultants operating across a UK network, Savills Earth is quickly developing into the largest zero carbon department in any mainstream real estate practice with a reputation for success and professionalism. Our energy services include, but are not limited to; feasibility studies, energy audits and due diligence on proposed and operational sites. In addition we undertake valuations of energy assets, transactions of energy assets, negotiating commercial contracts between different parties (Lease Agreements, Energy Supply Agreements, etc), identifying and securing land for energy developments and providing strategic advice on energy, infrastructure, and property related matters.
As an Energy Team within a real estate company our USP is understanding how land and property is used, the value that is attributed to real estate and how low carbon energy solutions can enhance property values to justify investment in net zero solutions. It is often the case that the best engineering solution for energy infrastructure is not the best property solution for the landlord or occupiers. As such, it is within this space that the Savills Energy Team looks to operate in partnership with architects, planners, developers, funders and specialist engineering design firms to find net zero solutions that improve the social aspects of a project and enhance property values.
